We had a wonderful warm welcome from Jelena who was also kind enough to pick us up from the ferry in the morning. The apartment was spacious and bright and the kitchen was well kitted out for preparing meals. Jelena had also thoughtfully gifted us some homemade limoncello and olive oil. From the photos on booking.com we thought that the garden had a shady seated area but please note this is not the case, it’s for the owners use. There is a small balcony though and we spent most days out discovering this beautiful island. The apartment is in a brilliant position - a short walk to beautiful Valdarke beach, about 15 minutes to the town of Mali and half an hour walk to Veli which is so pretty. We walked to Cikat bay for a day out and took a group boat excursion to Ilovik with Grota. This was a lovely day out with delicious hake cooked onboard and lots of opportunities to swim off the boat for a reasonable price. Thank you Jelena and Ivo we really enjoyed our stay and thank you for all your pastry treats - they were delicious.
